Treatment plans are tailored to the needs and desires of each patient. When the initial treatment is complete, every patient is presented with a customized maintenance plan to ensure optimal oral health in the future.

Office Hours

Galan Dental offers Office Hours for working families, with many Saturday, evening and after school appointments available. Most weeks, our office is open Monday from 9am-6pm, Wednesday from 10 am to 7 pm, Fridays 8am-5pm. We are also open on Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm.

Because tooth aches have no routine schedule, Galan Dental is available for emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Call 408-377-8200 for dental emergencies.

Dental Insurance

Galan Dental accepts most dental insurance plans. A patient portion estimate is made and this amount is due at the time of the visit. Any remaining balance your insurance company does not cover will be applied to your account. Financial options (see below) are available. We accept most major credit cards and personal checks.

Financial Options

For your convenience, Galan Dental offers a variety of payment options. Our patient coordinator, Danyell, will work with you to match your individual need. We promise any financial arrangements will be as painless as our dentistry.

Infection Control

For your protection Galan Dental adheres to strict sterilization guidelines. Even our water lines are sterilized. Infection controls and universal precautions protect our patients and staff alike. Everyone benefits from rigorous infection control.

Dr. Galan and the entire team follow procedures recommended by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) among others. These measures include:

• Disinfectant hand soap
• Gloves, face masks and protective barriers
• Chemical disinfection of all countertops and surfaces
• Sterilization of equipment between each patient
• Disposable materials
• Sterilized water lines

We sterilize all reusable equipment, including the dental hand pieces and all instruments. This equipment is sterilized in an “autoclave,” a device that kills all bacteria and viruses by steam, heat and pressure.

Online Patient Registration

You may preregister with our office by filling out our secure online Patient Registration Form. After you have completed the form, please make sure to press the Submit button at the bottom to automatically send us your information. On your first visit to our office, we will have your completed form available for your signature. The security and privacy of your personal data is one of our primary concerns and we have taken every precaution to protect it.
